Times of Refreshing WMC 2011 Highlights!

Praise God for his daughters who came out to be Refreshed during this morning's Women's Mentoring Clinic!  During our time of fellowship, we defined what it means to be refreshed: "To revive, enliven, invigorate, rejuvenate, restore, recharge, revitalize, energize.  To reactivate memory; To replenish something; To please rather than excite." We then took the time to identify the people, places and things that have kept us from having these experiences in our daily lives.  After sharing our past, present and future goals for removing the obstacles that hindered us from achieving this place in their personal lives, we entered into our Word Impact segment which came from Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, (NKJV).  During this segment, we took the time to identify sin in our lives that we need to repent and turn AWAY from so we could turn TO the Lord in order to experience the times of refreshing that comes from HIS presence.  After processing and taking a Self-Inventory of our lives, we came to understand that dispensationally, we do not have time to be fickle with our God given assignments and callings.  As we turn away from the sins in our lives that keep us out of his presence, we are able to see how our turning away allows us to be refreshed from his presence and then in turn, bless others to others as a result.
We closed with the following Food for thought: "What personal impact does experiencing the Times of Refreshing have on you? Why does it matter for you to be in a place in your life where you live in this experience on a daily basis?" In the word of God, the rewards of being found in the presence of the Lord as a result of doing our personal "Spiritual Spring Cleaning" can be found in in Psalms 16:11: "You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore”!  As we concluded, the Spirit of the Lord pronounced a benediction upon the lives of the daughters and we were established as refreshed, revived and renewed vessels of honor fit for the Master's use!
